Base Camp pack trip into the Eastern Sierra near Bridgeport CA by Leavitt Meadows Pack Station

Camp on a high country lake or stream with the majestic peaks of Northern Yosemite Park as a backdrop. You bring your personal gear, sleeping bag and pad, fishing gear and camera, and we'll furnish everything else. The camp will be complete with spacious tents; delicious meals served outdoors, tables to eat at, folding chairs, portable showers and a private toilet area. Please let us know if you have food allergies or restrictions and we will inform you of your options.

You will arrive at Leavitt Meadows Pack Station at 6:30am and enjoy a light breakfast while your personal gear are being packed up. Once the packers are finished we will pair you with a horse and the group will head into the wilderness. The ride averages 4 - 5 hours depending on the location and the amount of stops required. Lunch is provided upon arrival to camp. Camp will be already set up, so all you have to do is get your gear stowed in your tent and spend the next few days hiking, fishing or photographing wild life, flowers or scenery that your friends won't believe without the picture you bring home.

Just lay around camp, read a good book or do whatever you like, after all it's your vacation. Then the last day, after lunch, your last meal of the trip, ride back to the Pack Station, arriving in late afternoon/early evening depending on stops.

For those of you who wish to do more riding while in the mountains, horses are available to keep during your camp stay for an extra charge. Saddle horses may be available for a daily fee, per horse, for the days you are in camp (Walker Meadows only, rate is subject to change based on size of party). Must have a minimum of two horses in camp for the entire trip. Horses are based on availability of stock and staff.

A non-refundable deposit will be required per guest.
